A dedicated eye casualty service available in clinic 9, the eye department in UHCW (Walsgrave Hospital) in Coventry
To access this service you need to call 02476964802 and speak to the team there. They will triage your symptoms and examine you if felt necessary.
Opening times 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays and 9.00am to 12.00pm on Saturday.
Outside these times patients must attend the main A & E in UHCW
Those requiring urgent assessments are recommended to self-refer as often eye conditions are time critical. Furthermore, GP surgeries do not hold the equipment necessary for a thorough examination.
