Cervical cancer screening

Cervical screening saves lives. To book your appointment select one from the following two options. Why not book an extended access slot for evening and weekend appointments?

When you'll be invited for cervical screening

Age When you're invited
under 25 up to 6 months before you turn 25
25 to 49 every 3 years
50 to 64 every 5 years
65 or older only if 1 of your last 3 tests was abnormal

Please note you should only book a smear if

  1. You have been invited by the national screening program
  2. You need to be Mid-cycle (Approx. 2 weeks after 1st day of period) at time of appointment
  3. You need to be at least 12 weeks post-delivery (if applicable)
