Medical advice can be obtained 'out of hours' (evenings, nights,
weekends and bank holidays) in an emergency by telephoning the following
numbers during the following times:
- Between the hours of 8am to 8.30am and 6pm and 6.30pm Monday to
Friday (not including bank or public holidays) please call Ambulance
Service on 0845 608 0275.
- From 6.30pm to 8am and during the weekend and bank or public holidays
please call the Out of Hours Service on 0300 1 30 30 40.
- Please do not ring about something that could wait until the
next surgery.
- If you have a life threatening condition 'out of hours' ring
999.
- If you want advice only 'out of hours' you may ring
NHS Direct
on 0845 4748.
